Weston-super-Mare Cricket Club are delighted to confirm that Netherlands International fast bowler, Paul van Meekeren, will be staying with the club for the 2024 season.

Meeks is into his 4th year with the club after first winning promotion with the club in 2018.

Paul has extensive county experience with Somerset, Gloucestershire and Durham, and a combined 80 International ODI and T20I caps, representing the Netherlands on the biggest stage at multiple World Cups.

Head of Cricket Rob Turner is delighted with the news:

“This is a real boost ahead of the start of the season. Meeks offers a huge amount on the pitch with his skill and experience, but he is also a very popular personality around the club as well. We’ll look forward to him taking the field around his international commitments.”
